The 2016/17 Season has seen 5 regulars from the 15/16 team moving on to other teams, an influx of young players joining the club and under new captain Jamie Caulfied the squad has gone from strength to strength. He has not done it alone, and with the previous year’s captain Paul Taylor and core members Paul De Freitas and Morgan Parrack, the 3’s are in a very strong position going forward.
The 3’s remain unbeaten in the Higgins Group London Hockey League Division 1, and with new additions to the side like brothers Gareth & Keegan Bint, as well as the return of Josh Parrack up top, we as a team have set high standards for ourselves going forward.
There is no reason why this team of players will not win the league this year. A great work hard, play hard attitude has resulted in a very close group of players, who love a beer or two back at the clubhouse.
Big mentions to Bean Chapman, Matt “H” Stevenson, Will Bushell, Dale Vearncombe, Andy Sortwell and Jim Sayer who have been integral to the 3’s success over the past 5 years and have moved on to bigger and better things.
Welcome to Keegan, Gareth, Hugo, Chucky, Kiwi, George, Buxton, Howard, Stoney, Justin, Guy, Gio, Peter & Josh – some fresh faces to help push the 3’s on going forward!”
